Dangerous driving on the M5

A woman has appeared in court in England charged with a number of road traffic offences, including dangerous driving, drink driving and driving without insurance, reports the Daily Mail.

She was arrested after driving for 23 miles in the wrong direction on the M5 at speeds of up to 60mph. She didn't notice the flashing lights of the police car, and only stopped when she ran out of petrol. When she was arrested, she was found to be almost two and a half times over the drink drive limit.

The 43-year old pleaded guilty to the charges and now faces a prison sentence.
